Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for over forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina that in the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 drama. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career effectively between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her early years. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
